Volunteers
Do you like what we do? Want to come out and feed Toronto's Most Vulnerable Individuals? Unite with us to help our community. We're always looking for more individuals to help us continue on our journey. Send us an email. Tell us about yourself, what you're looking for and why you want to volunteer. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we have limited our volunteer selection to 1 individual per delivery.
Buni
Hi! My name is Buni and I am currently a law student and independent ARAO educator/consultant.
As someone who grew up volunteering, especially during my undergrad, volunteering for me is a way to build community with the community. Food insecurity is one of the biggest issues that often face erasure in Toronto/GTA. I decided to volunteer with 50 Buns because it aims to call attention and ameliorate this issue within some of Toronto's most vulnerable neighbourhoods while bringing different aspects of the community together 💛

It was an honour to see other Police Foundations graduates taking community wellness to heart. 50 Buns has an awesome team working to help Toronto's Most Vulnerable Individuals, and this experience was a step in the right direction.
To gain life experiences and to do something selfless. Putting my energy and heart into my community in a selfless way helps me validate my existence as a human being.

Keandra Wilks
I am a high school student and I also love volunteering. 50 Buns has given me an opportunity to volunteer so I can get my forty hours to graduate from high school, by doing what I enjoy. I have been volunteering with 50 Buns over the past year because it feels great to give back to those in need and make their days better.
Volunteering makes me feel selfless, and it makes me feel like a nice person to be able to help people who are less fortunate than us.
It’s a good thing to help people that need it more.
