• 50 Buns

Jeveen Sandhu (Founder): We created 50 Buns because we wanted to give back to the community. With the quarantine in place, there weren’t as many options to give back to others. The quarantine also made it significantly harder for homeless individuals to get access to food, that’s why we partnered up with local businesses to put together a meal 🍔 for the homeless in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). There are millions of induvial who don’t have a roof over their heads or don’t have food on the table. If we can go out there and make someone’s day better. We accomplished our goal 👍🏽

I have always enjoyed volunteering, and 50 Buns gives me another opportunity to give back to the community and make someone’s day better. Volunteering has always given me self-confidence, as I am doing good for others and the community, which gives me a natural sense of accomplishment. Volunteering is an act of kindness. It involves caring, loving and sharing your time and heart to give back to the ones that need it the most ❤️
